What does 'melange' or 'milange' actually mean?
Melange isn't a color — it's a yarn technique. The fabric is spun from a mix of differently-colored fibers before knitting, giving it a heathered, textured look instead of a single flat-dyed shade.
How is a melange tee different from a solid tee?
A solid tee is knitted plain and dyed one flat color afterward. A melange tee has the color variation built into the yarn itself, which gives it a more textured, considered look at a glance.
What fabric weight do BLISS melange tees use?
170 GSM — intentionally lighter than our 200 GSM solids, since melange fabric already carries visual texture and doesn't need the extra weight to avoid looking flat.
How should I style a melange tee?
Best worn as a foundational layer — under a Cuban shirt left open, under a flannel, or on its own with baggy pants — rather than as a standalone statement piece.
Do melange tees run true to size?
Yes — check the size chart on the product page before ordering.
